UK Amateur Orchestras

This is a jumping off point for an unofficial round-up of the huge number of non-professional orchestras in the UK (also called community orchestras in some circles). A large number of them now have their own websites, and I get frequent e-mails from people looking for places to play and letting me know of orchestras I need to add to my list - I welcome the correspondence!

So, if you're looking for somewhere to play or somewhere to listen, just pick the area you're in, click on the map and you'll be there... Some areas are better represented than others (yes, you can tell where I have lived), but I'm adding new entries all the time.
