	One of the oldest and most distinguished non-professional orchestras in the country. Since its foundation after the First World War, the BSO has earned a high reputation for concerts of professional standard. 	The Orchestra is open to players aged 14 to 25 years, and gives 3 concerts a year in School/University holidays, in Sevenoaks or Tunbridge Wells. 	The Old Barn Orchestra (the orchestra for Medway and Maidstone) was founded in 1927 and incorporated with a full constitution the following year. Its name derives from its first meeting place, which was the music room - a converted barn - of Dr Ponder and his family at Abbey Court in Sandling (north of Maidstone).

	Founded in 1922, the RTWSO presents a season of six concerts each year at the Assembly Hall Theatre, Tunbridge Wells, during the period from October to April. It is made up from a core group of gifted local musicians whose ranks are augment by a number of professionals. Together they play to a high standard.

	We are a friendly concert band of wind and brass musicians from Sevenoaks and the surrounding areas of Kent and Sussex.
